Privacy Policy
Summary
Radar AI (the "Service") is a pipeline-intelligence platform operated by Radar AI, Inc. ("Radar," "we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers the Radar AI web platform, the Radar AI Chrome extension, and any related websites at goradarai.com.
The short version: we only process data you give us or explicitly push to us. We never sell your data. We do not use it to train third-party models. We hold what you push so you can work with it, and we delete it when you ask us to.
Information we collect
Account information
When you create a Radar workspace we collect your name, email, company, and a hashed password. If your firm uses single sign-on we receive the profile attributes your identity provider releases to us.
Data you push from LinkedIn via the extension
The Radar AI Chrome extension is the primary way data enters the Service. It
runs only on linkedin.com and only when you explicitly click
"Push to Radar" on a profile. When you push, the extension extracts and
transmits:
- Full name, title, current company
- Years of experience (derived from the earliest job-start date)
- Connection degree and mutual-connection count
- Profile headline and public "About" excerpt
- Canonical LinkedIn profile URL
- Personal cell phone and personal email, when LinkedIn surfaces them
The extension does not collect anything passively. No data leaves your browser unless you click Push.
Contact enrichment
When you ask Radar to unlock a contact's email or phone that LinkedIn does not display, we send the minimum identifying fields — name, current company, and LinkedIn profile URL — to licensed third-party enrichment providers (FullEnrich and Enformion) and store the verified contact details they return. This happens only when you explicitly request enrichment for a specific contact — never in bulk and never in the background.
Usage data
We collect diagnostic telemetry such as extension version, health-check timestamps, and push success/failure counts. This powers the green / amber / red status dot in the extension popup and lets us debug outages. We do not collect your LinkedIn browsing history.
Cookies and local storage
The Service stores your authenticated session token in browser storage
(cookies on the web app, chrome.storage in the extension). No
third-party analytics, ad trackers, or fingerprinting libraries are loaded.
How we use information
- To provide the Service. Match pushed profiles to existing contacts, compute Radar scores, drive alerts, and keep your workspace in sync.
- To keep the extension healthy. Surface the health dot, detect stale content-script contexts, and show reload prompts when the extension is updated.
- To communicate with you. Send transactional email (password resets, workspace invites, system updates). We do not send marketing email without explicit opt-in.
- To improve Radar AI. Anonymous, aggregated usage patterns (e.g., "median push latency") guide product decisions. Individual records are not used to train AI models beyond serving your own workspace's scoring logic.
What we do NOT do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not share your data with third-party advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not pass your data to foundation-model training corpora. Our in-app AI assistant uses Claude (Anthropic) under Anthropic's Commercial Terms and Privacy Policy, which prohibit training on customer content. Our contact-enrichment providers are contractually barred from reselling or repurposing the lookups we send them.
- We do not use your data to determine creditworthiness, insurance eligibility, employment decisions, or for any lending purpose.
- We do not transfer user data to external parties for unrelated purposes.
Sharing and service providers
We use a small set of vetted sub-processors to run the Service. Each is bound by contractual data-protection terms:
- Railway — platform + database hosting (US).
- FullEnrich — contact-enrichment provider. When you unlock a contact we send identifying fields (name, company, LinkedIn URL) and receive verified business/personal email and phone in return.
- Enformion — contact-enrichment provider, used as a complementary and fallback source for the same purpose.
- Anthropic (Claude) — powers the in-app AI assistant; processes only the content you submit and is not used for model training.
- Google Workspace — transactional email delivery.
We disclose information only when required by law, to protect the Service against abuse, or with your explicit consent.
Your rights and controls
Workspace admins and individual users can, at any time:
- Access the contact data that has been pushed to your workspace.
- Correct or delete individual records via the Radar app UI.
- Export your workspace to CSV.
- Delete your account — which permanently removes all associated data within 30 days.
- Disconnect the extension from your workspace at any time via the popup "Disconnect" button.
EU/UK residents have additional rights under GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, objection). California residents have rights under the CCPA. To exercise any right, email privacy@goradarai.com.
Security
Data in transit is encrypted with TLS 1.2+. Data at rest is encrypted on Railway's managed infrastructure. Session tokens are scoped per-device and revocable by the workspace admin.
The extension itself executes only code shipped inside the signed zip package; it does not load remote JavaScript at runtime.
Retention
We retain pushed contact records for as long as your workspace is active. If you delete your workspace, records are purged within 30 days. Aggregated anonymous telemetry may be retained longer for service health.
Children
Radar AI is built for professional outbound and recruiting workflows and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
International transfers
The Service is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the US, you consent to your data being processed in the US under US privacy law.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will notify workspace admins by email and update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
